Mr. PADILLA submitted an amendment intended to be proposed to amendment SA 5453 proposed by Mr. Thune (for Mr. Graham) to the bill S. 2, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of S. Con. Res. 33.; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the end of the amendment, add the following: SEC. 204. EXCLUDING CERTAIN INDUSTRIES FROM IMMIGRATION ENFORCEMENT OPERATIONS WITH LIMITED EXCEPTIONS. None of the funds provided by this Act may be used by any Federal, State, or local agency for immigration enforcement operations in the agriculture, restaurant, and hospitality industries that do not exclusively target violent criminals. ______
