HONORING GINA JOY RIGBY-HOUSE

Congressional Record, Volume 172 Issue 114 (Tuesday, July 14, 2026) [Congressional Record Volume 172, Number 114 (Tuesday, July 14, 2026)] [House] [Page H4424] From the Congressional Record Online through the Government Publishing Office [ www.gpo.gov ] HONORING GINA JOY RIGBY-HOUSE (Mr. JACK asked and was given permission to address the House for 1 minute and to revise and extend his remarks.) Mr. JACK. Mr. Speaker, I rise today to recognize the remarkable career of a great American, Gina Joy Rigby-House, who will soon retire from her role as Vice President of AFLAC. A native of Smiths Station, Alabama, Gina first worked for AFLAC part time during high school. After attending Liberty University, Gina dedicated her career to advocacy and government relations. For nearly a decade, Gina worked for the Gas Appliance Manufacturers Association, and in 2000 she joined a company whose commercials and mascot are familiar to us all, AFLAC. For 26 years, Gina honorably served the employees and shareholders of AFLAC by cultivating relationships with our country's leaders and shaping policies that benefited millions of Americans. Mr. Speaker, I first met Gina and her husband, Mike, in 2018 when I was serving in President Trump's first White House. Gina and I worked together to facilitate an Oval Office event with AFLAC employees to celebrate the passage and enactment of the historic Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, which proved to be a memorable day we will never forget. Mr. Speaker, I am honored to recognize the distinguished career of Gina Joy Rigby-House, who will be remembered by this Congress and her colleagues in Washington for her accomplishments, character, integrity, and steadfast devotion to her work. May the wonderful example she set be an inspiration for generations to come. ____________________
