HONORING ERIC FRANK ON HIS RETIREMENT Congressional Record, Volume 172 Issue 107 (Thursday, June 25, 2026) [Congressional Record Volume 172, Number 107 (Thursday, June 25, 2026)] [House] [Page H4253] From the Congressional Record Online through the Government Publishing Office [ www.gpo.gov ] HONORING ERIC FRANK ON HIS RETIREMENT (Mr. CRAWFORD asked and was given permission to address the House for 1 minute and to revise and extend his remarks.) Mr. CRAWFORD. Mr. Speaker, I rise today to honor a true leader, public servant, and a pillar of our community, city of Carlisle Police Chief Eric Frank, who is retiring after more than 42 years of service. He has served as an EMT, a Carlisle police officer, and as the department's chief for the past 25 years. That is a quarter of a century of leadership and a lifetime of sacrifice for the people of Arkansas' First District. Chief Frank has been the backbone of public safety in Carlisle as demonstrated by his leadership in recent years through the challenges of the pandemic and during devastating storms. In 2023 when severe weather took lives in Carlisle, he provided decisive leadership, coordinating with State agencies and always putting the safety of residents first. Whether launching drug take-back programs, advancing child safety, or handling day-to-day work, Chief Frank approached every duty with the same unwavering commitment. On behalf of the grateful people of Arkansas' First District, I thank Chief Frank for his service, his integrity, and his dedication. He has served with distinction, and I am proud to be his Congressman. ____________________
