I ask unanimous consent that when the Senate completes its business today, it stand adjourned until 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 12; that following the prayer and pledge, the Journal of proceedings be approved to date, the morning hour be deemed expired, the time for the two leaders be reserved for their use later in the day, morning business be closed, and notwithstanding rule XXII, the Senate resume consideration of Calendar No. 315, H.J. Res. 142, and the Senate vote on passage at 12 noon; further, that upon disposition of the joint resolution, the Senate resume consideration of the motion to proceed to Calendar No. 311, H.R. 7147, and that there be 30 minutes of debate, equally divided between the two leaders or their designees, and the Senate vote on the motion to invoke cloture following the use or yielding back of that time.
