Mr. HEINRICH submitted an amendment intended to be proposed to amendment SA 5453 proposed by Mr. Graham to the bill S. 2, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of S. Con. Res. 33.; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the appropriate place in title II, insert the following: SEC. ___. FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION. (a) Offset.--Notwithstanding section 202 of this title, the amount appropriated to the Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement under that section shall be $30,875,000,000. (b) Appropriation.--In addition to amounts otherwise available, there is appropriated to the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation for fiscal year 2026, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, $200,000,000, to remain available until September 30, 2029, for the Federal Bureau of Investigation to monitor and investigate terrorist threats to places of worship and collaborate with law enforcement partners to deter extremist violence. ______
