Ms. HASSAN submitted an amendment intended to be proposed to amendment SA 5453 proposed by Mr. Graham to the bill S. 2, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of S. Con. Res. 33.; as follows: At the appropriate place, insert the following: SEC. _____. FUNDING FOR THE HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIPS PROGRAM. In addition to amounts otherwise available, there is appropriated to the HOME Investment Partnerships program under subtitle A of title II of the Cranston-Gonzalez National Affordable Housing Act (42 U.S.C. 12741 et seq.) for fiscal year 2026, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, such sums as necessary, to remain available until September 30, 2029, for the purpose of helping to build 7,000,000 new homes. ______
