Mr. PETERS submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill S. 2, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of S. Con. Res. 33; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the appropriate place in title I, insert the following: SEC. ___. APPROPRIATION FOR THE PANDEMIC RESPONSE ACCOUNTABILITY COMMITTEE. (a) In General.--In addition to amounts otherwise available, there is appropriated for fiscal year 2026, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, $5,000,000, to remain available until September 30, 2029, for the Pandemic Response Accountability Committee to support oversight of the funds provided in this title. (b) Reduction in Funds.--Notwithstanding section 104, the amount appropriated under that section shall be $2,493,000,000. ______
