Mr. WHITEHOUSE submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill H.R. 6938, making consolidated appropriations for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2026, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the appropriate place, insert the following: SEC. ____. BLOCKING TRAVEL BY THE SECRETARY OF THE INTERIOR. Notwithstanding any other provision of any division of this Act, none of the funds appropriated or otherwise made available by any division of this Act may be used to support travel by the Secretary of the Interior until the lease pause issued by the Secretary of the Interior on December 22, 2025, for certain offshore wind facilities is lifted. ______
