The tour highlighted world-class U.S. research in biotech and energy as part of the Department of State’s new Bureau of Cyberspace and Digital Policy. The Inflation Reduction Act provides $2 billion for National Labs, and the CHIPS and Science Act incentivizes semiconductor manufacturing, energy research and advanced computing research initiatives.
