Washington, D.C. – Today, Representative Jim Himes (CT-04) released the following statement after voting against Congressional Republicans’ bill to provide $70 billion in unrestricted funding for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP): “What did the $140 billion Congressional Republicans gave to ICE and CBP last year get the American people?
