Ms. HIRONO submitted an amendment intended to be proposed to amendment SA 5453 proposed by Mr. Graham to the bill S. 2, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of S. Con. Res. 33; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the appropriate place, insert the following: SEC. __. APPROPRIATION FOR EMERGENCY FOOD AND SHELTER GRANTS. (a) Reduction in Amounts Appropriated to ICE.-- Notwithstanding section 102, the amount appropriated under that section to U.S. Immigrations and Custom Enforcement shall be $6,450,000,000. (b) Appropriate to FEMA.--In addition to amounts otherwise available, there is appropriated to the Administrator of the Federal Emergency Management Agency for fiscal year 2026, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, $1,000,000,000, to remain available until September 30, 2029, to carry out subtitle B of title III of the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act (42 U.S.C. 11341 et seq.). ______
