Mr. HEINRICH submitted an amendment intended to be proposed to amendment SA 5453 proposed by Mr. Graham to the bill S. 2, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of S. Con. Res. 33.; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the appropriate place in title II, insert the following: SEC. __. PROHIBITION ON USE OF FUNDS TO CARRY OUT ANY ASPECT OF THE EAST WING MODERNIZATION PROJECT. (a) Definition of East Wing Modernization Project.--In this section, the term ``East Wing Modernization Project'' means the project with the file number 8733 entitled ``East Wing Modernization Project'' for which the preliminary and final site and building plans were approved by the National Capital Planning Commission on April 2, 2026. (b) Prohibition.--None of the funds made available by this Act may be used for purposes relating to any aspect of the East Wing Modernization Project. ______
