“I was deeply saddened to learn of the sudden passing of Chairman J. Bruce Bugg Jr. This is a tremendous loss for Texas. Bruce was not only a friend but a devoted public servant whose leadership at TXDOT helped transform transportation across our state. I had the privilege of working with him on multiple occasions and witnessed firsthand his passion for improving infrastructure, mobility, and safety for all Texans.
