Ms. ALSOBROOKS submitted an amendment intended to be proposed to amendment SA 5453 proposed by Mr. Graham to the bill S. 2, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of S. Con. Res. 33.; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the appropriate place, insert the following: SEC. __. SUPPLEMENTAL NUTRITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM NUTRITION EDUCATION FUNDING. (a) Reduction in Amounts Appropriated.--Notwithstanding section 202, the amount appropriated under that section shall be reduced by $1,500,000,000. (b) Appropriation for SNAP.--In addition to amounts otherwise available, there is appropriated to the Secretary of Agriculture for fiscal year 2026, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, $1,500,000,000, to remain available until expended, to carry out the nutrition education program under the supplemental nutrition assistance program established under the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 (7 U.S.C. 2011 et seq.). ______
