For Country Caucus Endorses Four Bipartisan Bills Supporting Servicemembers, Veterans, and National Security

Washington, D.C. - The bipartisan For Country Caucus today announced its endorsement of four bills focused on strengthening our national security and improving the lives of servicemembers, Veterans, and their families. The endorsed legislation includes: H.R. 3151, the SHIPS for America Act of 2025 , led by Reps. Trent Kelly and John Garamendi, which rebuilds America's maritime industrial base and expands domestic shipbuilding capacity, which is critical to our national defense. H.R. 6993, the BEACON Act , led by Reps. Jack Bergman and Sarah Elfreth, which expands access to innovative, non-pharmacological treatments for Veterans with mild traumatic brain injury through new VA grant programs. H.R. 6469, the FREEDOM Act , led by Reps. Dave Min and Claudia Tenney, which promotes internet freedom in Iran by advancing the development and evaluation of emerging communications technologies. H.R. 7188, the MOLD Act , led by Rep. Jimmy Panetta, which puts stronger standards and accountability in place to ensure military families are not living in unsafe housing conditions. "We've all worn the uniform, and we know what it means to serve," said Co-Chairs Congressman Don Davis and Jake Ellzey. "These bills reflect the For Country Caucus's commitment to strengthening our national defense, supporting veterans and military families, and advancing practical solutions. We will continue working across party lines to deliver results for those who serve and the nation they have sworn to defend."
