Ms. CORTEZ MASTO submitted an amendment intended to be proposed to amendment SA 5453 proposed by Mr. Graham to the bill S. 2, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of S. Con. Res. 33; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: Strike section 202, and insert the following: SEC. 202. APPROPRIATION FOR COPS HIRING PROGRAM. In addition to amounts otherwise available, there is appropriated to the Attorney General for fiscal year 2026, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, $31,075,000,000, to remain available until September 30, 2029, for grants under paragraphs (1) and (2) of section 1701(b) of the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 (34 U.S.C. 10381(b)).
