Mr. HEINRICH submitted an amendment intended to be proposed to amendment SA 5453 proposed by Mr. Graham to the bill S. 2, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of S. Con. Res. 33.; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the appropriate place, insert the following: SEC. ___. APPROPRIATION FOR OFFICE ON VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN. (a) Reduction in Amounts Appropriated.--Notwithstanding section 202, the amount appropriated under that section shall be $30,875,000,000. (b) Appropriation for Office on Violence Against Women.--In addition to amounts otherwise available, there is appropriated to the Attorney General for fiscal year 2026, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, $200,000,000, to remain available until September 30, 2029, for the Office on Violence Against Women to increase support to survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. ______
