Mr. WHITEHOUSE submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the concurrent resolution S. Con. Res. 33, setting forth the congressional budget for the United States Government for fiscal year 2026 and setting forth the appropriate budgetary levels for fiscal years 2027 through 2035; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the end, add the following: TITLE V--POLICY STATEMENTS IN BOTH HOUSES SEC. 5001. POLICY STATEMENT REGARDING THE INVESTIGATION OF THREATS AGAINST FEDERAL JUDGES AND THEIR FAMILIES. It is the policy of this concurrent resolution that no Federal funds be obligated or expended by the Department of Justice until the Attorney General of the United States provides to Congress a written certification confirming that the Department of Justice has ongoing investigations of threats against Federal judges and the family members of Federal judges for evidence of coordination that may constitute a criminal conspiracy, enterprise, or solicitation. ______
