Following the briefing, Rep. Gomez released a video update to keep residents informed about current air quality conditions, ongoing response efforts, and available resources. "While firefighters are making progress, this crisis is not over,” said Rep. Jimmy Gomez. “My office will continue working with every level of government to make sure Boyle Heights and East Los Angeles receive the resources, transparency, and answers our community deserves."
