Ms. ALSOBROOKS submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by her to the bill H.R. 1968, making further continuing appropriations and other extensions for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2025, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the appropriate place, insert the following: [[Page S1785]] Sec. __. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, none of the funds made available by this Act may be used to carry out any reduction in force pursuant to subchapter I of chapter 35 of title 5, United States Code, or section 3595 of that title, at any department or agency in the executive branch of the Federal Government unless that reduction in force has been provided for in this Act. ______
