Mr. Speaker, Reverend Wayne Hines, Sr., would say: ``So listen to me, and listen to me good.'' I ask the House to listen and to listen good as we remember a man whose life spoke louder than words. Reverend Hines was a faithful pastor, public servant, and beloved voice in eastern North Carolina. He served as an Edgecombe County commissioner and pastor of Bunn Chapel Missionary Baptist Church and Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, dedicating his life to serving God and his community. Through ``Joy of the Morning'' on Soul 92, he carried powerful messages of faith, hope, and encouragement into homes throughout our region. Mr. Speaker, I am praying with his wife, Lady Carolyn, his family, and our community, and celebrating the remarkable life he lived. ____________________
