HONORING DANIEL G. WUCHTER

Congressional Record, Volume 172 Issue 87 (Thursday, May 21, 2026) [Congressional Record Volume 172, Number 87 (Thursday, May 21, 2026)] [House] [Page H3713] From the Congressional Record Online through the Government Publishing Office [ www.gpo.gov ] HONORING DANIEL G. WUCHTER (Mr. MACKENZIE asked and was given permission to address the House for 1 minute and to revise and extend his remarks.) Mr. MACKENZIE. Mr. Speaker, I rise today to honor the life and legacy of Daniel G. Wuchter, Sr., a longtime entrepreneur and the owner of the Allentown Fairgrounds Farmers Market. For decades, Dan helped shape one of the Lehigh Valley's most beloved institutions. His connection to the farmers market stretched back to its first opening in 1955, when he and his brother first operated a stand before building a business that grew into a lifelong commitment to the market and the community it served. As owner of the farmers market, Dan's hard work helped transform it into a gathering place that generations of families have come to know and love. Those who knew Dan remember not only his determination, but also his generosity and love for the Lehigh Valley. We extend our condolences to his wife, Laurie; his family; friends; and all those who knew him. ____________________
