Mr. PADILLA submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill S. 2, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of S. Con. Res. 33.; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the appropriate place, insert the following: SEC. ___. PROHIBITION ON USE OF IRS DATA FOR IMMIGRATION ENFORCEMENT. None of the funds appropriated or otherwise made available by this Act or any other Act may be used to place in detention, remove, refer for a decision whether to initiate removal proceedings, or initiate removal proceedings against any individual based on information shared by, or obtained from, the Internal Revenue Service. ______
