Mr. President, today I acknowledge and congratulate the International Hearing Society, IHS, on their 75th anniversary. IHS is headquartered in Farmington Hills, MI, and is responsible for representing the Nation's 10,000 hearing aid specialists. IHS and its members have been serving the millions of Americans with hearing loss since 1951. IHS's work has supported countless patients and providers, in Michigan and across the country, by empowering hearing healthcare professionals with education, specialized training, and professional development. IHS's commitment to the hearing aid community is unmatched and their passionate work is appreciated in Michigan and beyond.
