Mr. HICKENLOOPER submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill S. 4784, to authorize appropriations for fiscal year 2027 for military activities of the Department of Defense, for military construction, and for defense activities of the Department of Energy, to prescribe military personnel strengths for such [[Page S3586]] fiscal year, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the end of subtitle H of title V, add the following: SEC. 587. REPORT ON INCIDENCE OF MILITARY SUICIDES BY LOCATION AND MISSION. Not later than one year after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Defense, in coordination with the Secretary of Homeland Security with respect to the Coast Guard, shall conduct a review and submit to the Committee on Armed Services of the Senate and the Committee on Armed Services of the House of Representatives a report on the rates of suicides in the Armed Forces disaggregated by-- (1) location and operational environment, including whether the member was serving along the southern border as part of Operation Ardent Vanguard or in the Middle East as part of operation Epic Fury; and (2) service component. ______
