NICHOLAS A. LANGWORTHY of new york in the house of representatives Wednesday, September 16, 2026 Mr. LANGWORTHY. Mr. Speaker, I rise today to honor the Big Flats Fire Department on the occasion of its 100th anniversary. For a century, the department has stood as a pillar of service, dedication, and commitment to the Big Flats community. Since its founding in 1926, the Big Flats Fire Department has played an essential role in protecting the lives and property of residents throughout the Southern Tier. Generations of firefighters have answered the call, responding to emergencies and providing critical assistance to their neighbors in times of need. The department's century of service reflects the courage and selflessness of its members, both past and present. Their willingness to volunteer their time and put the safety of others first represents the very best of our communities. Mr. Speaker, I ask that the United States House of Representatives join me in recognizing the Big Flats Fire Department on its 100th anniversary and in extending our sincere gratitude to its members, past and present, for their century of dedicated service.
