WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Tuesday, September 29, 2026, Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5), Congressman Ted Lieu (CA-36), and Congresswoman Valerie Foushee (NC-4) sent a letter to the CEOs of OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, Meta, and SpaceXAI demanding a full accounting of every known instance in which their AI agents broke into systems they weren t authorized to access.
