Latta Named to Escort Committee for His Majesty King Charles III's Address to Joint Meeting of Congress

Today, Congressman Bob Latta (OH-5) announced he will serve on the Congressional Escort Committee for His Majesty, King Charles III, ahead of today’s Joint Meeting of Congress. Latta will join a bipartisan group of members, including House and Senate leadership, to escort King Charles III into the Joint Meeting. The address will commemorate the 250th anniversary of American independence and highlight the enduring special relationship between the United States and the United Kingdom. “It is an honor to serve on the Congressional Escort Committee for King Charles III. The United States and the United Kingdom share a strong and enduring relationship, and it is a pleasure to welcome King Charles to the United States House of Representatives, to address a Joint Meeting of Congress,” said Latta. Congressman Bob Latta is the Co-Chairman of the British-American Parliamentary Group.
