Ms. CORTEZ MASTO submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by her to the bill S. 4784, to authorize appropriations for fiscal year 2027 for military activities of the Department of Defense, for military construction, and for defense activities of the Department of Energy, to prescribe military personnel strengths for such fiscal year, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the end of subtitle G of title X, add the following: SEC. 1094. ADDITION TO DEFINITION OF ``CRITICAL TECHNOLOGIES'' FOR REVIEWS BY COMMITTEE ON FOREIGN INVESTMENT IN THE UNITED STATES. Section 721(a)(6)(A) of the Defense Production Act of 1950 (50 U.S.C. 4565(a)(6)(A)) is amended by adding at the end the following: ``(vii) Critical and emerging technologies identified in the most recent update to the Critical and Emerging Technologies List published by the National Science and Technology Council.''. ______
