HONORING THE LIFE AND SERVICE OF MRS. JEAN BREWER OF MARSHALL COUNTY, ALABAMA Congressional Record, Volume 172 Issue 4 (Wednesday, January 7, 2026) [Congressional Record Volume 172, Number 4 (Wednesday, January 7, 2026)] [Extensions of Remarks] [Page E9] From the Congressional Record Online through the Government Publishing Office [ www.gpo.gov ] HONORING THE LIFE AND SERVICE OF MRS. JEAN BREWER OF MARSHALL COUNTY, ALABAMA ______ HON. ROBERT B. ADERHOLT of alabama in the house of representatives Wednesday, January 7, 2026 Mr. ADERHOLT. Mr. Speaker, I rise today to honor and pay tribute to a remarkable leader, devoted patriot, and tireless advocate for conservative values in the great State of Alabama, Mrs. Jean Brewer of Marshall County. Jean Brewer's life has been one defined by service to our Nation, her community, and her beloved state. Upon graduating from DAR High School in Grant, Alabama, Jean embarked on her first professional journey with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Maryland, where she served with distinction early in her career. Jean was married to the late Don Brewer, whose service in the United States Air Force took their family around the world. Jean worked faithfully alongside her husband after he enlisted and earned his commission as an officer; she served as a liaison to other military spouses and providing support, encouragement, and leadership to families navigating the demands of military life. Together, Jean and Don raised three children, Jennifer, Renea, and Roger, instilling in them the same values of faith, service, and love of country that have guided their own lives. Following Don's retirement from the Air Force, the Brewer family returned home to Grant, Alabama. Never content to rest after years of service, Jean became deeply involved in local civic and political life. Her leadership and dedication were recognized by her community when she was elected and served for several years as President of the Marshall County Republican Party, where she worked tirelessly to strengthen grassroots involvement and uphold conservative principles. Jean Brewer loves this state, she loves this country, and she has consistently worked to preserve and restore the values that so many Alabamians hold dear. Through her leadership, mentorship, and steadfast commitment to service, she has left a lasting impact on Marshall County and beyond. As the Member of Congress from the 4th Congressional District of Alabama, it is my privilege to recognize Jean's lifetime of service and to commend her for her devotion to family, community, and country. I ask my colleagues to join me in honoring Mrs. Jean Brewer and extending our deepest appreciation for her many contributions. God bless Jean Brewer, and God bless the United States of America. ____________________
