Ms. CORTEZ MASTO submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by her to the bill S. 4784, to authorize appropriations for fiscal year 2027 for military activities of the Department of Defense, for military construction, and for defense activities of the Department of Energy, to prescribe military personnel strengths for such fiscal year, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the end of subtitle G of title X, add the following: SEC. _____. ENHANCED PENALTIES FOR CERTAIN CRIMES AGAINST VETERANS. Section 2326(2) of title 18, United States Code, is amended-- (1) in subparagraph (A), by striking ``or'' at the end; (2) in subparagraph (B), by striking the comma and inserting ``; or''; and (3) by inserting after subparagraph (B) the following: ``(C) targeted veterans (as such term is defined in section 101 of title 38) of any age,''. ______
