Mr. KIM submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill S. 2, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of S. Con. Res. 33.; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the appropriate place, insert the following: SEC. __. DHS INSPECTOR GENERAL AUDIT. (a) In General.--The Inspector General of the Department of Homeland Security shall conduct an annual audit concerning the expenditure of reconciliation funds for each of fiscal years 2025 through 2029. (b) Report.--Not later than 30 days after the date of enactment of this Act for the audit concerning fiscal year 2025, and not later than 30 days after the last day of each of fiscal years 2026 through 2029, the Inspector General of the Department of Homeland Security shall submit to Congress a report containing the findings of the audit required under subsection (a) relating to such fiscal year. ______
