Mark Messmer (R-IN) issued the following statement in response to Toyota Indiana’s announcement of a $200 million investment in their Gibson County facility: “ Today’s announcement that Toyota will invest $200 million to expand its production capacity at the Gibson County plant is tremendous news for Southwest Indiana and our whole state. Increasing production of the Grand Highlander will further strengthen a facility that already employs more than 7,300 Hoosiers. This welcomed news from Toyota reflects that international businesses recognize a community that is hard working and supports manufacturing.
