GUS M. BILIRAKIS of florida in the house of representatives Friday, October 9, 2026 Mr. BILIRAKIS. Mr. Speaker, it is a privilege to rise today to recognize Mr. Mike Mlynarski, a BP Lineman with Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative (WREC), for his outstanding contribution to WREC's second mission supporting the Light Up Navajo Project. Through Light Up Navajo, utility professionals volunteer their time and specialized expertise to help bring electricity to Navajo families who have lived without power for generations. Mr. Mlynarski joined his WREC colleagues in this important effort, using his experience as a lineman to help perform the demanding work necessary to extend electrical service. Their work has an impact far beyond the infrastructure they install. Reliable electricity provides families with light, refrigeration, greater safety, and opportunities that many Americans take for granted. For children, parents, and elders who have lived without these basic necessities, gaining access to power can be truly lifechanging. Mr. Mlynarski's participation reflects a willingness to use his skills not only as a profession, but also as a means of serving others. That spirit embodies the cooperative values that have long strengthened communities across our country. I commend Mr. Mike Mlynarski for his technical expertise, dedication, and commitment to helping families in need. His service reflects great credit upon WREC and our community. ____________________
