ZOE LOFGREN of california in the house of representatives Wednesday, July 15, 2026 Ms. LOFGREN. Madam Chair, today I will vote for the bipartisan Amendment No. 8 offered by Representative Massie to prevent the United States from sending an additional $3.3 billion in foreign military financing to Israel. I support Israel's sovereignty. I support funding for defensive systems such as the Iron Dome. I support a two-state- solution with a sovereign Palestinian state. However, I cannot send $3.3 billion more to Benjamin Netanyahu's government. It is worth noting that Netanyahu himself has indicated that Israel has sufficient resources so that his country no longer needs to rely on the United States for financial aid. ____________________
