TRIBUTE TO TED MARTIN

Congressional Record, Volume 172 Issue 24 (Tuesday, February 3, 2026) [Congressional Record Volume 172, Number 24 (Tuesday, February 3, 2026)] [Senate] [Page S468] From the Congressional Record Online through the Government Publishing Office [ www.gpo.gov ] TRIBUTE TO TED MARTIN Mr. SCHMITT. Mr. President, I rise today to recognize Ted Martin of Branson, MO. Over his remarkable 30 years with Branson Fire Rescue, he has guided the city's fire department through a period of rapid change and modernization. During his time as fire chief, he has consistently demonstrated a deep-rooted commitment to ensuring the brave men and women of Branson Fire Rescue are able to protect their fellow people of Branson as safely as possible. Over Chief Martin's incredible 13-year term, his team has maintained some of the lowest fire loss values across the region, serving as a testament to the entire force's selfless dedication and commitment to community safety. Chief Ted Martin has continually shown himself to be an outstanding community leader, and his stable leadership will no doubt be deeply missed. I am blessed to call Chief Martin a fellow Missourian, and he has more than proven himself as a Champion of Missouri. I wish him and his family the best as he begins his retirement this April. ____________________
