Mr. KELLY submitted an amendment intended to be proposed to amendment SA 5453 proposed by Mr. Graham to the bill S. 2, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of S. Con. Res. 33.; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the appropriate place in title II, insert the following: SEC. __. REINFORCEMENT OF TIMELY DACA APPLICATION PROCESSING. (a) U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.--The amount appropriated under section 202 shall be reduced by $31,075,000,000. (b) DACA Application Processing.--In addition to amounts otherwise available, there is appropriated to the Director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services for fiscal year 2026, out of money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, $200,000,000 for the timely processing of applications for deferred action pursuant to the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, as set forth in the final rule of the Department of Homeland Security entitled ``Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals'' (87 Fed. Reg. 53152 (August 30, 2022)), and for processing associated applications for employment authorization documents. ______
