Ms. BALDWIN submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by her to the bill S. 2, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of S. Con. Res. 33; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the appropriate place, insert the following: SEC. ___. PROHIBITION ON USE OF FUNDS FOR U.S. IMMIGRATION AND CUSTOMS ENFORCEMENT OR NATIONAL GUARD PRESENCE NEAR VOTING POLLING PLACES. None of the funds made available by this Act may be used to allow agents or officers of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement or U.S. Customs and Border Protection, or members of the National Guard, who are on duty or in uniform, during any voting period, to enter any location within \1/4\ mile of an active polling place, set up a checkpoint along any route to an active polling place, or interfere in any way with the ability of any eligible voter to access his or her assigned polling place. ______
