Enhanced Mobility of Seniors & Individuals with Disabilities Program

Funding : $2,193,105,343 Description : To provide financial assistance in meeting the transportation needs of seniors and individuals with disabilities where public transportation services are unavailable, insufficient or inappropriate. The Section 5310 program is designed to supplement the Federal Transit Administration's other capital assistance programs by funding transportation projects for seniors and individuals with disabilities in all areas - large urban, small urban, and rural. Eligible Recipients : States, Counties, Cities / Townships, Special Districts, Tribal Governments (federally recognized), Nonprofits with 501(c)(3) status, Nonprofits - without 501(c)(3) status Eligible Uses : Capital, Operating Assistance and Planning State Administering Agency : CTDOT Learn More: Here and Here
