Mr. MURPHY submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill H.R. 7148, making further consolidated appropriations for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2026, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: On page 1235, between lines 21 and 22, insert the following Sec. 555. None of the funds appropriated or otherwise made available by this Act or by any other Act may be used by the Department of Homeland Security to support immigration enforcement operations carried out by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement or U.S. Customs and Border Protection if any Department of Homeland Security employee fails to cooperate with an investigation by an appropriate State or local official or agency relating to the use of force by any employee of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement or U.S. Customs and Border Protection. ______
