Congressional Record, Volume 172 Issue 146 (Wednesday, September 16, 2026) [Congressional Record Volume 172, Number 146 (Wednesday, September 16, 2026)] [Extensions of Remarks] [Pages E943-E944] From the Congressional Record Online through the Government Publishing Office [ www.gpo.gov ] HONORING THE LIFE AND LEGACY OF ZACCHARY L. KNOLL ______ HON. LLOYD SMUCKER of pennsylvania in the house of representatives Wednesday, September 16, 2026 Mr. SMUCKER. Mr. Speaker, I rise to honor the life of Zacchary L. Knoll of Clay Township, who passed away after a brief illness on December 8, 2025, at the age of 42. Mr. Zacchary Knoll, or Zac, was a husband to Teal and father to Barrett. He shared 8 years of marriage with his wife and was the proud father of their 5-year-old son. He had a strong presence in the community where he worked for Denver Borough for a total of 18 years. He started as a Laborer Ill in the Department of Public Works and was promoted to Director of Public Works in 2022, a role in which he oversaw the borough's water, sewer, and roadway systems. In this capacity he contributed greatly to the health, safety, and wellbeing of the community and was an engaging, positive ambassador for the borough. In January 2026, Denver Borough Council forever memorialized Zac by renaming the baseball field at the North 4th Street Playground as the Zac Knoll Field, a testament to how beloved he was in the community. We are grateful to Zacchary Knoll for his service to Denver Borough. As we celebrate his life, we offer prayers of comfort to his wife and son. [[Page E944]] ____________________
