Congresswoman Ross Announces New Chief of Staff

Washington, D.C. - Today, Congresswoman Deborah Ross (NC-02) announced that Meryl Harold will serve as her new Chief of Staff. Meryl brings years of experience from Capitol Hill, the private sector, and Democratic campaigns to Congresswoman Ross' office. Most recently, she served as Deputy Chief of Staff and Legislative Director to Congressman Eric Sorensen (IL-17). Previously, she worked for Representatives Angie Craig (MN-02) and Jim Himes (CT-04). Prior to her time on the hill, she led business development for a digital media company's life sciences division. She began her career in politics as an Ohio organizer on President Obama's 2008 campaign. "I'm thrilled to welcome Meryl to my office as Chief of Staff," said Congresswoman Ross. "She brings a wealth of experience that will ensure our office can continue providing exceptional service to the people of North Carolina's Second District. Her years of experience navigating Capitol Hill will be invaluable as we advance our legislative priorities and deliver results for Wake County." ###
