Chairwoman McClain Highlights a Tax Season that Delivers for the Whole Family

WASHINGTON - House Republican Conference Chairwoman Lisa McClain (R-Mich.) published an op-ed in The Detroit News , highlighting how the Working Families Tax Cuts are delivering tax relief for Americans at every stage of life. Select excerpts from Chairwoman McClain's column are below. The full piece is available here . "Most people do not circle Tax Day on the calendar with excitement. Not Wall Street. Not bureaucrats. Families "Republicans did not write a bill for one slice of America. We wrote one that follows a family through life. It helps parents welcome a child. It helps workers keep more of what they earn. It helps employers step up for their employees and our economy. And it helps seniors hold on to more of the money they earned "That is what good tax policy looks like."
