JUDY CHU of california in the house of representatives Thursday, October 15, 2026 Ms. CHU. Mr. Speaker, I rise to congratulate the distinguished Alhambra Seventh-Day Adventist Church on its 100th anniversary. Founded in 1926, Alhambra Seventh-Day Adventist Church has grown to a congregation of more than 400 members who are dedicated to sharing hope, supporting health and wellness, and meeting the needs of others. Guided by these principles, the church welcomes all individuals, offering opportunities to build meaningful relationships and find a sense of belonging. Through community outreach, members of the Alhambra Seventh-Day Adventist Church strive to bring comfort to the sick and assist those facing hardships. Whether through hosting community health events, offering meals to members and neighbors, providing education and family programming, or by caring for and supporting vulnerable members of the community, Alhambra SDA Church embodies the values of loving one's neighbor. The centennial is an occasion not only to celebrate the history of Alhambra Seventh-Day Adventist Church, but also to recognize the dedication of the pastors, leaders, members, volunteers, and supporters who have helped sustain its mission for decades. Their contributions have made a positive impact on the lives of congregation members and the Alhambra community. I am proud to recognize Alhambra Seventh-Day Adventist Church on reaching this incredible milestone. Through caring for the sick, providing for the needy, and creating a congregation that welcomes all, the Alhambra SDA Church's impact will continue to be felt by our community for many years to come. ____________________
