Mr. LUJAN submitted an amendment intended to be proposed to amendment SA 5453 proposed by Mr. Graham to the bill S. 2, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of S. Con. Res. 33.; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the appropriate place in title II, insert the following: SEC. ___. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE. (a) Offset.--Notwithstanding section 202 of this title, the amount appropriated to the Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement under that section shall be $30,975,000,000. (b) Appropriation.--In addition to amounts otherwise available, there is appropriated to the Attorney General for fiscal year 2026, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, $100,000,000, to remain available until September 30, 2029, for initiatives under the Law Enforcement Mental Health and Wellness Act Program such as peer support and training for law enforcement officers. ______
