Congressman Sessions Announces EPA Award to City of Huntsville

WACO, TX- Congressman Pete Sessions (TX-17) will hold a press conference today to announce that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has awarded $1,000,000 to the City of Huntsville for Wastewater Treatment Plant Rehabilitation. This funding, secured through the Appropriations process at the request of Congressman Sessions, will expand the plant's capacity to meet the needs of a growing population while ensuring water quality standards are maintained for Lake Conroe and Elkins Lake. Congressman Sessions said, "I am proud to announce that the EPA is awarding $1 million to the City of Huntsville for critical rehabilitation to the N.B. Davidson Wastewater Treatment Plant. This investment will expand water capacity to support Huntsville's growing population while protecting water quality in Lake Conroe and Elkins Lake. I'm grateful my request worked to secure this funding, which will provide essential infrastructure improvements and strengthen the future of this beautiful community." ###
