Mr. KIM submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill S. 2, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of S. Con. Res. 33.; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the appropriate place, insert the following: SEC. ___. OFFICE OF INSPECTOR GENERAL INVESTIGATIONS OF UNLAWFUL KILLINGS, ARRESTS, DETENTION, AND DEPORTATIONS OF UNITED STATES CITIZENS. In addition to amounts otherwise available, there is appropriated to the Office of the Inspector General of the Department of Homeland Security for fiscal year 2026, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, $500,000,000 to investigate the unlawful killing, arrest, detention, and deportation or removal of United States citizens carried out by officers of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and U.S. Customs and Border Protection. ______
