[Congressional Bills 119th Congress] [From the U.S. Government Publishing Office] [S. 4362 Introduced in Senate (IS)] <DOC> 119th CONGRESS 2d Session S. 4362 To amend the Railroad Retirement Act of 1974 to eliminate certain deductions for annuities under the Act. _______________________________________________________________________ IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES April 21, 2026 Mr. Coons (for himself and Mr. Hawley) introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions _______________________________________________________________________ A BILL To amend the Railroad Retirement Act of 1974 to eliminate certain deductions for annuities under the Act. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Railroad Retirement Fairness Act of 2026''. SEC. 2. ELIMINATING CERTAIN DEDUCTIONS FOR ANNUITIES UNDER THE RAILROAD RETIREMENT ACT OF 1974. Section 2(f) of the Railroad Retirement Act of 1974 (45 U.S.C. 231a(f)) is amended by striking subdivision (6). <all>
