Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Piers Reinvestment Act''. SEC. 2. ELIGIBILITY FOR MUNICIPAL PIER IMPROVEMENTS. (a) Resilience Improvement Grants.--Section 176(d)(4)(A)(ii)(II) of title 23, United States Code, is amended-- (1) in item (pp) by striking ``and'' at the end; (2) by redesignating item (qq) as item (rr); and (3) by inserting after item (pp) the following: ``(qq) strengthening, upgrading, or improving municipal piers; and''. (b) At-Risk Coastal Infrastructure Grants.--Section 176(d)(4)(C)(iii) of title 23, United States Code, is amended by inserting ``municipal piers,'' after ``pedestrian walkways,''. (c) Authorization of Appropriations.--Section 11101(b)(1)(E)(i)(V) of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (23 U.S.C. 101 note) is amended by striking ``$300,000,000'' and inserting ``$500,000,000''. <all>
