Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Shared Micromobility Investment Act''. SEC. 2. ELIGIBILITY OF SHARED MICROMOBILITY PROJECTS FOR FUNDING UNDER CERTAIN SURFACE TRANSPORTATION PROGRAMS. (a) Surface Transportation Block Grant Program.--Section 133(b) of title 23, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following: ``(25) Shared micromobility projects (including investments in bikesharing or shared-scooter systems).''. (b) Carbon Reduction Program.--Section 175(c)(1) of title 23, United States Code, is amended-- (1) in subparagraph (L), by striking ``and'' at the end; (2) in subparagraph (M), by striking the period at the end and inserting ``; and''; and (3) by adding at the end the following: ``(N) a shared micromobility project (including investments in bikesharing or shared-scooter systems).''. (c) Local and Regional Project Assistance.--Section 6702(a)(3) of title 49, United States Code, is amended-- (1) in subparagraph (G), by striking ``and'' at the end; (2) by redesignating subparagraph (H) as subparagraph (I); and (3) by inserting after subparagraph (G) the following: ``(H) a shared micromobility project (including investments in bikesharing or shared-scooter systems); and''. <all>
